The analysis of the subject especially the economic point of view and the related issues are something new to me. Also the 3 levels (tiers) of 'openness'.
At level III (according to text Open Educational Resources: What the are and why do they matter by I. Tuomi) everybody can contribute with his own work. But what about the pedagogical approach of such educational material? I read about "adragogy" and "trans formative theory" (Mezirow). How can i match all these?
Another issue is about the technological gap, especially in development countries.
As a newcomer I'm surprised with the underling movement in nowadays education.
I believe that It will very interesting to be a part of this team!!

I agree the problems with being able to access the internet will be an issue for some. I have not traveled in developing countries but I have friends who have. They always seem to be able to find an internet cafe even in the most remote and economically poorest communities. So perhaps there are opportunities out there about which we know very little.
